CJ was seriously the best DJ we could have asked for. He perfectly gaged the crowd from the few first songs to get us warmed up to the foot stomping/arm waving/unabashed body wiggling that created the best dance party ever. The dance floor was packed for our entire wedding with people from every generation. I could not have imagined a more perfect set or person to create that vibe. All of our friends keeping talking about CJ the DJ and the dance party he created that none of us will ever forget. Thank you, CJ!

One of the hardest things about wedding planning is finding a good DJ. Looking at a venue, food tasting, and dress shopping are all easy because they are tangible things. You cannot get a feel for a DJ unless you hear them spin. Fortunately I have friends that are in the entertainment industry and CJ came highly recommended. My wife and I liked the fact that CJ really wanted to pick our brains about the type of music we wanted played. It really showed that he was invested in our wedding and wanted the music to be a reflection of us. CJ was also open to suggestions up until the day before the wedding which showed his flexibility. The day of the wedding CJ was super professional and was very engaging with the guests and it showed because the dance floor always packed. His equipment was top notch and the sound quality was outstanding. In the future I will not hesitate to recommend CJ to anyone that is looking for a DJ.

Any couple looking knows that there’s no shortage of wedding DJ’s out there. What led my husband and I to CJ was that we weren’t looking for a typical wedding DJ. We didn’t want someone who just tends a computer and plays the same set at every event they work. We wanted a DJ who could look at a crowd and know exactly what it’ll take to make them move. From grandparents to college friends, the dance floor was packed throughout the night and no one was ready to leave when last call was announced. It’s not just the professionalism and attention to detail—it’s the talent he brings that made our night all the more memorable.

I’ve collaborated with CJ on many different events, and he’s proven time and time again that he thoroughly understands the importance of keeping the music consistent with the vibe and overall message of the production. His confidence in reading a room is reinforced by his professionalism when dealing with venue staff and his ability to adapt under pressure, trouble-shooting unpredictable issues on-the-fly in order to keep an event on schedule. His knowledge of music spans genres, and his open-minded nature makes him an easy choice among an increasingly saturated industry. Not to mention, he’s an incredible turntablist, a fleeting skill among his competitors.
